Phew – what a busy Plant Sale!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a tremendous success, and to all those who came along to support us. We were delighted to welcome so many visitors, with an incredible 83 people already queuing before 10am.
It was wonderful to see so many leaving with armfuls of plants and smiling faces. Even our Mayor, Jonathan, was full of praise for the event. The support from our members, volunteers, and local community means a great deal to us all and is what makes occasions like this so special.
A special thank you also goes to Julie and her team for all their hard work, dedication, and support in helping to make the day run so smoothly. Their efforts behind the scenes were greatly appreciated and played a big part in the event’s success. 🌸👏💚
We would also like to thank Ken and Debbie for “babysitting” the Petunias and Geraniums in the weeks leading up to the sale. Their care, attention, and green-fingered dedication ensured the plants were looking their very best on the day, helping to make the sale such a success. 🌺🌱😊
🍰 Our homemade cakes were a huge hit once again! From classic favourites to delicious homemade treats, there was something for everyone to enjoy. A big thank you to all our fantastic bakers who kindly donated their creations, and to everyone who supported the stall. Seeing so many people leaving with cakes, smiles, and perhaps a few extra calories 😄 made it all worthwhile. 🧁❤️
A special thank you also goes to all the wonderful helpers in the refreshment tent, who kept the tea, coffee, and cakes flowing throughout the day. Their hard work, cheerful service, and willingness to keep everything running smoothly helped create the warm and welcoming atmosphere that visitors enjoyed so much. ☕🍰👏😊

🤣 Jeff & Jan somehow managed to convince people to part with their money for an impressive collection of random stuff! Whether it was a bargain, a treasure, or simply something nobody could quite identify. 🛍️💰
